Bought this for my son's bday and honestly I think I've played with it more than him lol. For the price the speed is actually crazy and it handles the lake waves pretty well, just wish the battery lasted a bit longer but we just bought a spare.
Super fast and easy to setup!! My kids love it.
It's okay for a starter boat but keep your expectations in check. The range isn't quite what they claim on the box and it struggles if the water isn't perfectly glass-still. On the plus side, the self-righting feature actually works which saved me from swimming out to get it a couple times. It's a decent value for the money but if you're serious about the hobby you might want to save up for something more professional.
i was looking for something cheap to mess around with at the pond and the Cheerwing fits the bill perfectly. Pros: fast as heck, looks cool, and the low battery alarm is a lifesaver. Cons: the plastic feels a little bit thin and the charger is kinda slow. Overall tho for the price point you really cant complain too much, its a blast to drive.
Disappointed tbh. It worked great for like two days and then water got into the motor housing even though I made sure the lid was tight. Now it just makes a grinding noise and wont move. Returning it tomorrow.
Decent speed but the steering is a bit twitchy.
This is a great entry level boat. I've never owned an RC boat before but I found it very intuitive to control. The packaging was good and it arrived really fast. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun hobby.
Absolute unit of a boat for the price. 5 stars.
Its a fun toy but the battery life is pretty short, maybe 10-15 mins tops. It's fast while it lasts though. Build quality is average, mostly
Super fast for the price! My kid loves it and honestly so do I haha.
This thing RIPS. I wasn't expecting much for under $100 but it actually handles really well in the lake. Just make sure the hatch is tight or water gets in. Overall super happy with the purchase.
It’s okay. The battery life is kinda short, maybe 10-15 mins max. It’s fun while it lasts but definitely buy a spare battery if you want to stay out longer. Construction feels a bit plasticky too.
Bought this for my son's birthday but I've ended up using it more than him. Pros: the speed is legit and the self-righting feature is a life saver when you flip it in the middle of the pond. Cons: the charger is a bit slow and the range isn't quite what's advertised on the box. For an entry level boat though, you can't really beat the value. Better than the cheap ones at big box stores for sure.
Great little boat. Fast and easy to set up. perfect for the summer.
Honestly disappointed. The steering servo got stuck after only three uses. I tried fixing it but the internal parts are pretty cheap. I guess you get what you pay for but I expected it to last at least a month.
its alright i guess. fast but feels kinda fragile. idk if i would buy it again.
Fantastic beginner boat! I’ve had more expensive models that were way more finicky to get running. This one is plug and play. It doesn't handle rough water well, so keep it to calm ponds.
I have mixed feelings about the Cheerwing. On one hand, the speed is impressive and it looks cool in the water. On the other hand, the remote feels very cheap and toy-like. Also, the cooling system seems to struggle if you run it at full throttle the whole time. It's a decent budget option but if you're serious about the hobby you might want to spend a bit more.
A very capable RC boat for the price point. Very satisfied with the performance and shipping was fast.
Honestly I’m blown away by how fast this thing goes for the price. Bought it for my son’s bday but I’ve probably spent more time with it than he has lol. The "capsize recovery" thing actually works which is great because we flipped it like five minutes in. Just make sure to get a second battery because 10 mins goes by way too fast.
Super fun and easy to use. My kids love it!
It's okay for a starter boat. The plastic feels kinda cheap and the remote is a bit flimsy, but it moves pretty quick in calm water. I wouldn't take it out if there's any wind though.
I was looking at some of the more expensive brands like Traxxas but decided to try this first. Tbh it’s a solid little boat for the money. It handles well and stays dry inside for the most part. Just be sure to grease the shaft every now and then or it starts making a weird noise.
Stop working after the third time we took it out. Motor just hums and wont spin. Complete junk.
