Fnylague Unicorn Terrarium Kit Review: A Magical Craft for Girls Aged 6-10?

Bought this for my 7yo daughter's bday and she absolutely loved it. The little lights make it look so magical at night on her nightstand and she’s already asking for another one. It was easy enough for her to do mostly on her own, though the little plastic pieces are a bit fiddly for adult hands. Way better value than some of the name brand kits we've seen at Target.

It's a cute concept but the quality is just okay. The "glass" is actually thin plastic and it scratches really easily if you aren't careful during assembly. My 9 year old had fun for an hour but hasn't touched it since it's basically just a lamp now. It's fine for the price I guess but dont expect it to last forever.

A very sweet little project for a rainy Sunday afternoon. The instructions were simple enough for my granddaughter to follow without me hovering too much. Only downside is that the glitter gets everywhere, so be sure to put some newspaper down first!

Honestly disappointed. The led lights stopped working after two days and the unicorn figure had a broken horn right out of the box. I tried to glue it back on but it’s too small and kept falling off. I'd skip this one and find something more durable for your kids.

Mixed feelings on this Fnylague kit. Pros: the colors are vibrant and it really does look "magical" once finished, plus the price is hard to beat. Cons: the tweezers they include are total junk, we had to use our own to get the tiny flowers in place. Also, it’s much smaller than it looks in the pictures online. It’s a decent craft for the price point but dont expect high-end materials.

idk why people are complaining, for under 20 bucks this is a steal. My sister is obsessed with unicorns and she was so hyped to build this. its kinda delicate like the desc says but if u be careful its fine.

It's an okay kit for the price I guess. The decorations are nice and my 8-year-old liked setting it up, but the instructions were kind of confusing for her to do alone. Some of the plastic pieces feel really cheap and I'm worried they'll break if she drops it. It looks cool on the nightstand once it's done though. Tbh there are probably better quality ones out there but for the price it's fine.

I was looking for something to work on fine motor skills with my girl and this was perfect. She had to be really precise with the tweezers and placement. The end result is really beautiful when the lights are on in a dark room. I like that it comes with enough stuff to actually fill the jar, unlike some other kits where you feel like you need to buy extra glitter or rocks. Totally worth it for a rainy afternoon activity.

We've tried a few of these terrarium kits before and this one is definitely one of the prettier ones. The unicorn theme is a huge hit. It's affordable too, which is nice bc some of these craft things are way overpriced.
