In this comprehensive review, we'll delve into its key features, weigh its pros and cons, and ultimately help you decide if it's the right choice for your hair lightening needs. We'll also explore who this product is best suited for and compare it with other popular options on the market.
Key Features of L'Oreal Quick Blue Hair Lightener
- • High-Performance Lightening Action: Designed to lift hair color up to 7 levels, allowing for significant lightening in a single application.
- • No-Drip Formula: The powder mixes into a creamy consistency, reducing the risk of drips and ensuring even application.
- • Extra Strength: Formulated for noticeable results, even on darker hair shades.
- • Single Application Pack: The 0.8 oz package is designed for a single application, making it convenient for touch-ups or smaller areas.
- • Versatile Use: Suitable for various lightening techniques, including highlights, ombre, and full-head bleaching.
Pros: The Upsides of L'Oreal Quick Blue
- • Effective Lightening: L'Oreal Quick Blue lives up to its name, delivering significant lift in one application, particularly noticeable on medium to light brown hair. Many users have reported achieving their desired level of blonde without multiple processes, which is less damaging to the hair.
- • Minimal Drip: The no-drip formula truly excels in providing a mess-free application. It allows for precise placement and prevents the product from running onto unwanted areas, making it easier to control the bleaching process, even for beginners.
- • Affordable Price: At around $12.99, L'Oreal Quick Blue is a budget-friendly option compared to salon treatments or other professional-grade hair lighteners like Wella Blondor, making it accessible to a wider range of users.
- • Easy to Find: Widely available in drugstores and online retailers, L'Oreal Quick Blue is easy to purchase and convenient to restock whenever needed.
Cons: The Downsides to Consider
- • Requires Careful Application: As with any hair bleach, improper use can lead to damage, dryness, or uneven results. Beginners should exercise caution and perform a strand test beforehand. It’s important to use a developer strength appropriate for your hair type and desired lift.
- • Can be Drying: The bleaching process itself can be drying to the hair. Users with already dry or damaged hair should use a deep conditioning treatment after bleaching and incorporate regular moisturizing routines. Products like Olaplex can also help to rebuild hair bonds during and after the process.
Who Should Buy L'Oreal Quick Blue?
The L'Oreal Technique Quick Blue High Performance Hair Lightener is best suited for individuals who:
- • Have some experience with hair bleaching or are comfortable following instructions meticulously. While the product is relatively easy to use, a basic understanding of the hair lightening process is crucial for achieving desired results and minimizing damage.
- • Are looking to lighten their hair by several levels. This product is specifically designed for significant lightening and is suitable for those who want to go blonde or achieve a lighter base for other vibrant colors. It works best on lighter brown to medium brown hair to avoid brassiness.
- • Are on a budget and seeking an affordable alternative to salon services. The price point of L'Oreal Quick Blue makes it an attractive option for those who want to achieve salon-like results without breaking the bank.
- • Want to do highlights or ombres at home. Due to the no-drip formula, it makes it relatively easy to apply bleach precisely, perfect for at-home highlighting kits and trendy ombre looks.

i was scared id look crazy but it actually looks rly good?? i used a mitt and it went on smooth. def better than the spray version imo.
Its okay. Not the best ointment I've used but not the worst either. For a few bucks it's fine for simple muscle soreness but it didnt help my arthritis much.
Been taking this for 3 weeks now. I love that it's a high potency blend because I used to have to take like 3 different pills to get these ingredients. My digestion feels much smoother and I think it's helping with my sugar cravings too. A bit expensive but I'll probably keep buying.
they're alright. a bit thicker than what I'm used to so my machine struggled to seal a couple times. okay if u care about the environment i guess.
