Phomemo Label Printer M110 Review: A Portable Thermal Label Maker for Small Businesses

The Phomemo M110 is a compact, Bluetooth-enabled thermal label printer designed for ease of use and portability. Priced competitively at $39.98, it aims to provide a convenient labeling solution for small businesses, crafters, and individuals needing quick and easy label creation. This review delves into its features, performance, and overall value, comparing it to similar products on the market, such as the Rollo and Brother P-touch label printers.

What is the Phomemo M110?

The Phomemo M110 is a portable thermal label printer, meaning it uses heat to print labels onto special thermal paper, eliminating the need for ink cartridges. This makes it cost-effective in the long run. Its compact size and Bluetooth connectivity make it ideal for use on the go or in small spaces. It’s compatible with both iOS and Android devices, as well as Windows and Mac computers, offering considerable flexibility in terms of label design and printing options.

The target audience includes small business owners who need to create labels for products, shipping, or inventory management. It's also suitable for individuals who enjoy crafting, organizing, or simply need a convenient way to label items around the house. Its ease of use and relatively low price point make it an attractive option for a wide range of users.

Key Features of the Phomemo M110:

  • Bluetooth Connectivity: Easily connect to smartphones, tablets, and computers for wireless printing.
  • Thermal Printing Technology: No ink cartridges needed, reducing ongoing costs and maintenance.
  • Compact and Portable Design: Ideal for travel, on-the-go labeling, and small spaces.
  • Wide Label Compatibility: Supports various label sizes and types.
  • User-Friendly Mobile App: Offers a range of design options and easy label creation.

Pros of the Phomemo M110:

  • Versatile App Features: The Phomemo app provides a wide selection of fonts, symbols, and design templates.

Cons of the Phomemo M110:

  • Limited Label Width: The printer only supports labels up to 2.3 inches wide which might be limiting for certain applications.
  • Print Quality Issues (occasionally): While generally good, occasional issues with smudging or uneven printing have been reported by some users, though this seems to be rare.

Who Should Buy the Phomemo M110?

The Phomemo M110 is a great choice for small business owners, especially those in retail, e-commerce, or who manage inventory, needing to create labels for products, packaging, and shipping. Its portability also makes it well-suited for those working from home or on the go. Individuals who need to label items for organization purposes, crafters making small batch projects, or those who regularly need to identify and categorize products would also find this printer useful.

Compared to more expensive options like the Brother P-touch Cube, the Phomemo M110 offers a significant price advantage without sacrificing much in terms of functionality for its intended use case. While Rollo printers offer some advantages in terms of speed and label width options, the Phomemo M110’s portability and simplicity are strong selling points.

I bought this because the dealership recommended it. It seems fine so far but I'm not sure if it's actually better than the ones they sell at Walmart for half the price. My car runs the same lol.

Finally found something that doesn't slide off my memory foam pillow during the night!! The fit is super snug and it feels very premium against the skin. My husband wants one now too lol.

Perfect for the kitchen TV! It’s small enough to hide behind the set and I love being able to just ask Alexa to play the news while I'm cooking.

Picked this up for a last minute cosplay and it's actually really decent. The wax is pliable and blends into the skin well with a bit of vaseline. The spatulas it comes with are a lifesaver tbh. It’s definitely not Ben Nye quality but for under 20 bucks you really can’t complain. Just make sure you set it with powder or it gets a bit tacky after a while.

I have mixed feelings about this one. Pros: very affordable and definitely moves a lot of water. Cons: the motor is a bit buzzier than I expected and the intake slots are kinda big so I’m worried about my shrimp getting sucked in. It’s a good backup filter but maybe not my first choice for a bedroom tank where you need total silence.

Honestly pretty impressed with this. It looks way more expensive than it actually was and the stainless steel hasn't rusted at all in the 3 months I've had it. Just make sure your tiles are totally flat or the suction won't do anything.
