I've had the Durasole for about a month now. Performance-wise, it's flawless and the auto-sensing feature is way more reliable than old-school float switches. However, I did notice the manual was kind of vague regarding the peak electrical draw specs. It's definitely a luxury item, and while I like it, I'm still trying to justify the cost to my husband haha.
It’s a mixed bag. On one hand, you get two tempered glass sheets for under ten bucks, which is a steal. On the other hand, the "oleophobic coating" is pretty weak. I find myself wiping off smudges every five minutes. If you just want cheap protection it’s fine, but if you hate fingerprints, maybe look elsewhere.
Best bang for your buck if you just want to watch Prime Video and Hulu. I don't need all the fancy 4k stuff so this was perfect for my old Vizio in the bedroom.
