The EMSON Robotwist Jar Opener promises a hands-free solution, effortlessly tackling jars of all sizes. This automatic jar opener, branded as the "Deluxe Model with Improved Torque," aims to simplify your life in the kitchen. As Seen on TV, the Robo Twist intends to be the best of the automatic jar openers, but does it live up to the hype?\n\nThis electric jar opener is designed for anyone who finds opening jars difficult, from seniors and individuals with limited mobility to busy parents and home cooks. The Robotwist aims to eliminate the struggle and pain associated with manual jar opening, allowing you to enjoy your favorite foods with ease. Let's dive into the features, pros, and cons of this kitchen gadget to see if it's a worthy addition to your countertop.\n\n## Key Features of the EMSON Robotwist\n\nThe Robotwist boasts several features designed to make jar opening a breeze:\n\n Automatic Operation: Simply place the opener on the jar lid and press the "start" button. The Robotwist does the rest, gripping and twisting the lid until it opens.\n Universal Compatibility: Designed to work on virtually all jar sizes, from small spice jars to larger pickle jars.\n Hands-Free Design: Allows users with limited hand strength or dexterity to open jars independently.\n Improved Torque: EMSON claims that the Deluxe Model has improved torque over previous versions, providing more power for tackling stubborn lids.\n Compact and Portable: The device is relatively small and lightweight, making it easy to store and transport.\n\n## Pros: What We Liked About the Robotwist\n\n Truly Hands-Free: The biggest advantage is its hands-free operation. Once positioned, it opens the jar without any further assistance, ideal for those with arthritis or weak grip.\n Versatile Jar Size Compatibility: It handled a wide variety of jar sizes that we tested, from tiny mustard jars to larger tomato sauce containers.\n Simplified Kitchen Tasks: It noticeably reduced the effort and time spent opening jars, a plus for busy cooks.\n\n## Cons: Where the Robotwist Falls Short\n\n Can Be Noisy: The motor operation can be quite loud, which might be a concern for some users.\n Battery Dependency: It requires batteries (not always included), adding to the long-term cost and inconvenience. A rechargeable model would be preferable.\n\n## Who Should Buy the Robotwist?\n\nThe EMSON Robotwist Jar Opener is particularly well-suited for several user groups:\n\n Individuals with Arthritis or Limited Hand Strength: This is the primary target audience. The Robotwist significantly reduces the strain and pain associated with opening jars manually. The hands-free operation is a game-changer for those who struggle with grip strength.\n Seniors: As we age, hand strength often diminishes. The Robotwist allows seniors to maintain their independence in the kitchen by making it easier to access their favorite foods.\n* Anyone Seeking Convenience: Even if you don't have any physical limitations, the Robotwist can be a convenient tool for busy cooks. It saves time and effort, allowing you to focus on other aspects of meal preparation.\n\nConsider comparing the Robotwist to other automatic jar openers like the Hamilton Beach OpenEase Automatic Jar Opener or the BLACK+DECKER JW200 Lid Lifts Automatic Jar Opener. These alternatives offer similar functionality but may differ in price, size, and battery life.\n\n## Conclusion: Is the Robotwist a Kitchen Essential?\n\nFor a price of $19.99, the EMSON Robotwist Jar Opener offers a convenient solution for opening stubborn jars. It's alright I guess. The "scratch resistant" part seems to hold up okay but the fitment isn't perfect on my 2021 model. There's a tiny gap at the bottom that lets in a little dust, idk if I'd buy it again or just spend more for an OEM one.

I have chronic dry eyes and have to use drops 4x a day. Honestly, I was skeptical if a "guide" would actually help or just be another piece of junk in my drawer. Pros: it keeps my eyelids open (my biggest issue) and fits most of my bottles. Cons: it's a bit bulky to carry in a small purse. Tbh it's worth it just for the lack of frustration in the morning.
