I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the West Bend urns for my small catering business and the VANLUMZ actually surprised me. It's built surprisingly sturdy for a "budget" brand. 100 cups is a lot of coffee and it didn't clog once during a 4-hour event. My only gripe is that the thermostat isn't super precise, so if you're a total coffee snob you might notice the difference, but for a general crowd? No one complained. Solid value.
I wanted to love this but it started fraying at the edges after only two weeks. The "fur" also feels a bit synthetic and plastic-y once you actually walk on it barefoot. Just spend the extra money on a real hide or a better quality faux one.
I’ve been using the Flojet 18555-
I’ve bought similar cowhide rugs before that were way more expensive and honestly this one is just as good for the price. It's thinner than a real hide obviously, but for a synthetic rug it's very plush and the 4.2x5.2 size is just right for an accent piece.
Picked this up for my small coffee shop and it’s been solid so far. It's not fancy but for the price you really can't beat it. Setup was easy enough with our square stand. Sometimes the drawer sticks just a tiny bit if you overstuff it with receipts but for a budget option its 100% worth it.
We have the original Sphero and the Mini. The Mini is definitely more "toy-like" and doesn't handle bumps as well. The shell comes off easily which is cool for changing colors but it feels a bit fragile. On the plus side, the block-based coding is great for beginners. It's a decent middle ground between a toy and an educational tool, just don't expect it to survive a drop down the stairs.
