Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: What is the difference between SPNO and SPDT solenoids?

A: SPNO (Single-Pole, Normally Open) means the circuit is open when the solenoid is not energized and closes when energized. SPDT (Single-Pole, Double-Throw) can switch between two different circuits.

Q: What type of applications is this solenoid best suited for?

A: The White-Rodgers 70-120224 is well-suited for continuous duty applications requiring reliable switching, such as HVAC systems, industrial automation, and other control systems operating on 36 VDC.

Q: Is this solenoid compatible with other control systems?

A: Compatibility depends on the voltage and switching requirements of the control system. Always verify compatibility before integration.

Competitor Comparison

While a direct, feature-for-feature comparison is challenging without specifying competing models, users should consider alternatives from brands such as ASCO, Honeywell, and Omron. These manufacturers offer a range of solenoids with varying specifications and price points. A careful comparison of features, voltage requirements, and duty cycles is recommended to determine the best fit for specific needs.

Conclusion: Price vs. Performance and Overall Recommendation

The White-Rodgers 70-120224 solenoid offers reliable performance and robust construction, making it a worthwhile investment for applications demanding continuous and dependable operation. While the higher price tag may be a concern, the potential for reduced downtime and extended lifespan should be factored into the overall cost-benefit analysis. Not bad, but not amazing either. I usually buy Calvin Klein undershirts and these definitely aren't as soft as those, but they cost way less. Good for a backup pack but probably not my first choice for a night out.

I bought these for my daughters 16th birthday party and they were honestly such a lifesaver!! TBH i was worried they wouldnt fit the standard Costco water bottles but they went on perfectly and didn't peel off even when we put them in the ice bucket. The pink color is super cute and looks way more expensive than what i paid. Def recommend if u want a fancy look without spending a ton of money.

way over priced for what they are. one of mine had a loose thread after the first wash... total waste of money imo.

decent for the money but tbh the box it comes in is super flimsy and broke almost immediately. blocks are fine tho.

It looks nice on the shelf but when I opened it there was a really strong chemical smell like glue or something inside. I had to let it air out for a couple days before I felt comfortable putting my dog's ashes in it. Kinda annoying but it's decent for the cost.

Finally! A product that actually does what it says. These are much more comfortable than the Always ones I was using before and they feel more like real underwear.
